Congratulations to Dr. Ashley Tharayil on receiving the Rising Researcher award from the National Association of Economic Education.
She received this award for her outstanding contributions in economic education research. The award was presented to her at the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis.

Dr. Ashley Tharayil is an associate professor of Economics and the department chair of Economics and Business Administration at Austin College. She is married to Joseph Thomas Thekkanattu and they have three beautiful children. Ashley is the oldest daughter of Kishore and Sheeba Tharayil. Ashley is also a CCD teacher for our 11th and 12th graders in Christ the King church, Dallas, TX
