Thomas Simonkutty (Charath House), 82, of Riverview, FL. passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025.Simonkutty was the eldest son of late. K.J.Thomas and late. Chinnamma Thomas and husband of late. Sosamma Simonkutty (Nedumchira family). He belonged to the Punnathura Parsh in Kerala. He took early retirement from Militiary Engineering Services (MES) as an Assistant Garrison Engineer (Kochi, India) and moved to the US in 1993 with his family. He lived in N.Y, Chicago and finally moved to Tampa area in 2021.
He is survived by his siblings: Anandavalli Kunjumon, Lilly Chorath, Jose Charath, Gracy Simon, Johnson Charath and Sonny Thomas; his children: Noel & Jeesha, Zoel & Rosalin and Anzel & Sujit as well as his grandkids: Dhiya Maria Charath, Isha Thomas, Anna Charath, Shreya Thomas, Anushka Thomas and Zayden Charath.
Funeral services will be held on July 19th from 11:00am @ Sacred Heart Knanaya Church, Brandon, FL. Burial will be at Hillsboro Cemetery following the funeral mass.
