On Sunday, August 4, 2024, the AMICOS North America convention kick-off event took place at the Lime & Lemon Indian Grill & Bar in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Organized by regional coordinator Mr. Vimal Kolappa and planned by Minsa Varghese, the event was attended by inspirational figures such as Ms. Reena Parangot from Maryland. The event ran from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM ET.

75th Anniversary and Global Convention:
The 75th Anniversary of Mar Ivanios College will be celebrated alongside the inaugural Global AMICOS Convention from October 11-13, 2024, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Dallas, Texas. The convention site, dubbed Mar Ivanios Nagar, will host a theme of "Beyond the Halls, Beyond the Years," bringing together alumni from across the globe.
