Rhema Thomas Vallippadavil is honored to serve as the Miss Firelands Queen for 2026–2027. At just 15 years old and entering her sophomore year of high school, Rhema is embracing this opportunity with gratitude, faith, and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

A proud member of the Knanaya community of Ohio, Rhema is the daughter of Lenus and Divya Vallippadavil. She comes from a loving family of five children and is the eldest daughter. Family has always been one of her greatest priorities, and she credits her family for helping shape the person she is today.

Rhema believes that serving others is one of the most meaningful ways to make an impact. During the summer, she dedicated her time to community service by volunteering at Admirals Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she spent time with residents and offered encouragement and companionship. She has also earned a certification in Medical Coding, reflecting her growing interest in the healthcare field.

Her passion for healthcare is deeply personal. Rhema dreams of one day establishing a hospital called “Faith Hospital”—a place where doctors and healthcare professionals could volunteer their time and where quality care could be made more accessible to those who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

Her desire to serve others comes from an experience that changed her life at a young age. Rhema was seriously ill and spent several months receiving treatment at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. During that difficult time, numerous doctors worked to understand her condition, and she received extensive treatment while her family waited for answers. Specialists were brought in to help determine the cause of her illness, but the uncertainty continued for months.

Through that challenging experience, Rhema and her family leaned heavily on their faith. Her recovery became a powerful reminder to her of the strength she found in God and the importance of hope during difficult circumstances.

As she grew older, Rhema began turning that experience into a purpose. Through volunteering at rehabilitation centers, she spends time with people experiencing long-term medical challenges, offering them encouragement, kindness, and prayers. She hopes that even a few words of support can remind someone that they are not alone.

Winning the Miss Firelands title is an experience Rhema describes as both exciting and humbling.

“Winning Miss Firelands honestly feels a little unreal. When they called my name, I was filled with so many emotions at once. I felt excited, grateful, nervous, and honestly just really proud of myself. I put a lot of time and effort into this experience, so having it all pay off was such a special moment for me.”

For Rhema, the crown represents much more than a title. It represents faith, responsibility, service, and the opportunity to inspire others.

“I dedicate this crown to God. It comes with great responsibility and respect, and I am honored to carry it.”

What makes this journey even more meaningful is the opportunity to represent a community that Rhema deeply values. Throughout her reign, she hopes to meet new people, become more involved in her community, serve others, and create memories that will stay with her for years to come.

She is incredibly grateful to her family, friends, mentors, and everyone who believed in her and supported her throughout this journey.
