It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of V .K Joseph (79) Aynipurath, Kakkanad, Ernakulam . He was a distinguished ex-Indian Navy War veteran (INS Vikrant), he served with pride and dedication. He was awarded the prestigious Samar Seva star, Poorvi star, Paschimi Star etc. Following his military service, he served in the shipping industry and later he devoted his life to helping others as a Counselling Psychologist ,Social Worker, liturgical commission member and Catechism headmaster at St. Kuriakose Knanaya Catholic Church Ernakulam.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Joseph (Analil Uzhavoor)
Children: Soya Babu Vazhiyampalathunkal (Chicago),Capt. George Sony Joseph ,Solly Joseph.
Son-in-laws: Babu Vazhiyampalathunkal (Chicago) Antu (UAE) Daughter-in-law : Jiji Jacob Vattothara He was the proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren including Jeev Vazhiyampalathunkal and Jessica Vazhiyampalathunkal A man of great integrity, compassion, and wisdom, he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Viewing: Noel Arcadia Apartment, Padamugal Kakkanad from 9:00 AM onwards
Funeral Prayers: Begin at 3 PM
Final Prayers: At St. Kuriakose Knanaya Catholic Church, at 3:30 PM
There will be a memorial mass for the departed soul on Saturday , 06/28 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church Morton Grove
