Commemorating the 50th anniversary of IKCC marks a truly pivotal milestone in the history of the Knanaya community across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Established in 1976, IKCC stands as the pioneering Knanaya lay organization outside of India.
Over the decades, it has remained a beacon of hope, a pillar of strength, and a source of enduring pride for all Knanayites who continue to uphold our age-old heritage, culture, and traditions. Spanning more than half a century, the growth and sustainability of IKCC have been shaped by the dedication of countless leaders who have served in various capacities—both in the main organization and its subgroups, including Kids Club, KCYL, Yuvajanavedi, Women’s Forum, Golden Club, Building Board etc.
Each of you deserves heartfelt gratitude for your invaluable contributions. We also recognize and salute the many unsung men, women, and children whose time, effort, and talents have quietly strengthened this organization in countless ways.
IKCC has truly stood the test of time.
Despite navigating challenging periods, it has remained resilient, never yielding to external pressures. It continues to stand firmly rooted in its founding principles and values.
May IKCC continue to inspire future generations, serving as a vibrant platform for our youth to cherish, preserve, and carry forward the rich Knanaya heritage for years to come.
